To secure and and begin creating your ORIGINAL Amrta Art commission , a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. This is payable by paypal or venmo. No personal checks are accepted. On some occasions, quartly payments can be arranged but only for commission with and initial deposit of one thousand dollars or more. No acceptions. Commission and currently available painting prices are based off of previous sales, market value, and the price of materials. THEY ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE.

Turn around time for your custom commission is greatly determined by the size of the piece and the material availability. PLEASE ALLOW AMPLE TIME IF YOUR PIECE IS FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION. This ensures all materials can be shipped to the studio and your painting can be created in the appropriate time frame.

For most commissions, allow at least six weeks from the day the deposit is received.

Upon completion of your piece, any and all of the remaining balance will be due to release the painting.

Once the balance is paid, your painting will be ready for pick up. Amrta Art does not deliver or hang your piece. This is the responsibility of the collector. Pieces can be shipped worldwide and the collector is responsible for shipping costs.

If you would like Amrta to be present for the drop off or gifting of the painting, please arrange that when the piece is commissioned and in some cases there will be a fee.

You piece will come wrapped, but make sure to have a vehicle large enough to ensure there is no pressure on any sides of the painting. You do not want to force your painting into a vehicle that is too small. Amrta will let you know which direction to face the painting so that there is not any pressure on the top of the piece and it is facing up. Make sure to take the piece directly to its destination ESPECIALLY IN THE SUMMER. DO NOT leave your painting in a hot vehicle. You will want to get the piece to its destination as soon as possible.

If you are not ready to immediately unwrap and hang your piece, just make sure there is no pressure on the front wrapping and that THE BACK is leaning securely against a wall or laying on the floor. Never place anything on your painting. Again, do not leave in an overheated room, garage, or storage unit.

Your piece will come wired for hanging.

Your painting will come varnished, so day to day dust will not hurt the integrity.

To ensure your painting fully cures, ABSOLUTELY NO touching for at least two months after it arrives. Ideally, limit touching for the life of the painting as the oils on hands over time can discolor original art.

After you allow a few months to cure, if you find dust accumulates, very light dusting with a feather duster is best.

Avoid long, direct, strong sunlight. It is ok if your painting gets some sun during the day, but extreme amounts should be avoided.

WHEN MOVING:

If you need to move your painting, it is great to wrap it in foam packing and NOT BUBBLE WRAP. If you use bubble wrap, make sure it is not the first layer that is touching the painting as the indents can imprint on your painting. Always use a smooth covering first and then bubble wrap or the best choice is corrugated cardboard.

If your painting gets nicked or scratched in a move, do not panic. It can be fixed. The painting can be dropped at the studio and there is a charge for a minor fixes.
