Solo Exhibition 2022 Preview

This show addresses some of hidden corners of our society through personal experiences of trauma. Amrta’s goal is to shine a light on the the darkest parts of her past in order to start a dialogue about trauma, shame, and the incredible resilience of the human spirit.

HERMOSA BEACH, CA (September 10, 2022 7pm- October 22nd 2022 9pm)— Artist Amrta’s finely crafted solo show, “Integrated” is a multimedia experience of video, installation, and visual art boldly telling a story of trauma and survival through her own personal experience of rape and process within the criminal justice system. 

“As an artist, I am deeply influenced by my own experiences of suffering and the incredible ability of the human spirit to expand and heal more each day. This has led me to use my art as a way of connecting back to myself and connecting back to the world.” Amrta is most known for her “Amrta Gold Series”: “I want to cover the world in gold as a reminder to everyone that there is always perfect gold within ourselves, no matter what.”

Amrta is a member of the Shockboxx Gallery Program where she also acts as a curator and juror. She is also a member of the Los Angeles Artists Association. Amrta Art works have shown internationally and Amrta collectors span the globe. Amrta also curated the acclaimed show, “Moods of Winter” for Artsy through Shockboxx Gallery in Hermosa Beach, CA. The Amrta piece “The Old and The New” hangs next to an original Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol in Los Angeles.
